It has been speculated that Aiden McGeady could earn a short-term deal at Middlesbrough or move on loan following the announcement last week that he would be placed on the transfer list.

Some fans have used the opportunity to take aim at Parkinson and have once again suggested he lacks the spine to deal with difficult situations in the squad.
